Bratislava

13. years ago we used to be one country and we used to call ourselfs "brothers". in spite of the little differences in the language we understood eachother very well. After the separation we cut cold to eachother the brotherhood has disappeared and replaced by the bitterness.
And how is it today? An ire is gone. The children then has grown up and their hearts is free from a crabbedness.
And the city? Bratislava is still living its modest life full of christmas mood... a smell of hot and spicy wine and the baked conkers flows through the streets...kneelers inside the church looking for forgivenes? consolation? only they know...
Slovakia - i have never stop loving this lost sister with her proud people and their heart full of hospitality.

not only a political system has changed in my county in that day. The time when my father has to have the last word is also over. Now he is making some feminin work as cooking vienna dumpligs with a pleasure.I have to say he did well ! I am proud of him and he still have my respect in spite of our often fight about a territory.

something about Bittova

IVA BITTOVA - is one of the most remarkable personalities in Czech music. Permanently oscillating between folk and contemporary music Bittova has created an original and totally individual way of playing music. She herself describes her style as "my own personal folk music".
Iva Bittova was born in northern Moravia near Bruntal on July 22, 1958. She attended violin and ballet classes in Opava and appeared in the Silesian Theatre of Zdenek Nejedly in children roles. In 1971 she began to study music and drama at Brno conservatory. She found herself in an avant-garde "Theatre On A String", first as a first-year student and immediately after her school leaving exam as a permanent member. In spite of her youth she had good opportunities both in the theatre and cinema and in TV and radio. Since that time Bittova has created several successful roles and has co-operated with well-known Czech directors as J.Jires (Island of Silver Herons, The Diary of One Who Disappeared), D.Hanak (Rosy Dreams) and E.Sokolovsky (The Apple and Its Tree). Wide popularity she gained thanks her role in the film of V.Sis A Ballad for a Bandit.
The Czech music audience first became aware of Bittova's purely musical talent in 1987 after she and percussionist Pavel Fajt released a joint recording titled simply "Bittova and Fajt" - very original minimalist fusion of alternative rock music with Slavic and Gypsy motifs. Also Bittova's co-operation with the group "Dunaj" ranked among her activities in the sphere of rock music.
Iva Bittova's first solo record ("Iva Bittova" - 1991) fully outlined her extraordinary complexity as an artist. She composed all of the 14 tracks on the album, except for Czech folk song "One Sister". "Her colourful voice scaled the octaves, intertwining with alternately warm, frantic and brutal tones emerging from her violin and viola, creating interesting musical landscapes with poetic lyrics that drifted quietly over them like clouds..." wrote The Prague Post about her first solo CD. Bittova is one of those rare artists who know how to put all possible extremes of the emotional scale into one song: she laughs and cries, cackles as a hen, chirps as a bird, slaps her tongue, makes strange throat noises and even lets all these vocal tricks coincided with a mime imitating madness next to childish surprise. As impressive as is her vocal acrobatics, is Bittova violin playing, distillated from different techniques, constantly mixed. Once she plucked her instrument as a ukulele or a banjo, than again she plays with a bow or used a wooden stick to get a rhythmical pattern from the string. Bittova uses everything she has, plays with her entire body, beats a rhythm with her feet. Every now and then, she introduces performance-elements, thus provoking simple but beautiful images, making her concert more accessible.
Since 1991 Bittova has created six solo CD's including "44 Duets for Two Violins by Bela Bartok". The last one is "The White Inferno" from the year 1997. In addition of her solo concerts, cooperation with her husband Pavel Fajt Bittova performed many concerts together with other famous musicians (Jiri Stivin, Emil Viklicky, Fred Frith, Tom Cora, Chris Cutler, David Moss) and ensembles (S.E.M. Ensemble) both in the Czech Republic and in a majority of European countries and U.S.A.
Critics from all over the world try to classify Iva Bittova. Some say she is like Meredith Monk, others call up Laurie Anderson, or even Diamanda Galas. But Bittova - drawing from a well of pure natural talent and Gypsy-Jewish blood - is now very individual outstanding performer (permanently improving her violin play with Rudolf Stastny, professor of Janacek Academy in Brno), composer of her songs and actress always searching for new and untraditional shape.

dedicate to Laurent

JóGA (bjork)
All these accidents that happen
follow the dot
coincidence makes sense only with you
you don't have to speak - I feel
Emotional landscapes
they puzzle me
then the riddle gets solved
and you push me up to this:
State of emergency : how beautiful to be
state of emergency : is where I want to be
All that no-one sees
you see
what's inside of me
every nerve that hurts you heal
deep inside of me
you don't have to speak - I feel
Emotional landscapes
they puzzle me
then the riddle gets solved
and you push me up to this:
State of emergency : how beautiful to be
state of emergency : is where I want to be

prostejov - my hometown

The town of Prostějov is part of the Olomouc Region. It is situated on the northern edge of Hornomoravský úval basin, at the foothill of Prostějovská pahorkatina upland, in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. On its western side, there rises the Drahanská vrchovina highland. The town is flat, with minimum elevation differences, from 212 to 262 meters above sea level.
The town comes into existence in 1141 as a small settlement of Prostějovice, deriving its name from Lord Prostěj. The first written records about the town, also referred to as the Jerusalem of Hana, date back to the first half of the 12th century. The historical core of the town has been declared a historical town preserve.

One of the oldest sights in town is the Church of Holy Cross, built towards the end of the 14th century to replace a former Augustinian monastery. Among other sights, there is the Prostějov Castle at Pernštýnské náměstí square, completed in early 16th century in the Renaissance style and later reconstructed in early 20th century, with a rich decorated portal by Italian architect Casper Cuneus. The sgraffito decoration of the castle was made by Jano Kohler. Above the entrance, there is the famous sentence: ,,Hanák tade bode do skonání světa... (People of Hana will live to the end of time ..." The Renaissance architecture of Italian builders of the 1520s and 1530s can also be seen in the former town-hall. The building was completed in 1538 with a noteworthy portal, decorated with the municipal coat-of-arms. It now houses the Museum of Prostějov. Today, the main cultural and community centre and one of the architectonic dominants of Prostějov is the Narodni dum (National House), an outstanding cultural monument of the Czech Republic, it was built in 1905 -1907 according to a design by Jana Kotera, a professor at the Prague School of Applied Arts and a prominent representative of Czech Art Nouveau. In addition to Jan Kotěra. the Národní dům was decorated by painter František Kysela and sculptors Stanislav Sucharda and Karel Petr. The centre of the town is dominated by the building of the new town-hall, erected in 1911 - 1914 according to a project by prof. K. H. Kepka, replacing former military barracks, designed in the style of Historicism, with elements of Art Nouveau in the interior. The front side was decorated with sculptures by Vl. Pleský. On the right side, there is a relief of architect Matšj Rejsek, made by Jan Tříska, on the left side, there is a relief by sculptor Bohumil Teplý, devoted to the philosopher Edmund Husserl. Among other architectonic sights, there is a Plague Column with the sculpture of Virgin Mary, erected in 1714 by an unknown author, a Baroque church of St. John of Nepomuk, Parish Church of St. Peter and Paul and the Church of St. Constantine and Method.

The town lives not only in its history. In early May, Prostějov welcomes all those who are keen on dancing to Discodrome - The Championship of the Czech Republic and World Championship in Disco Dance Formation and Disco Show Formation and the European Championship in Break Dance. Since 1957, the town has also been organising Wolkrův Prostějov - a national festival of poetry. In September, the town enlivens with three-day Prostějov Haná Festival, the largest Czech festival of children and adult Haná ethnic ensembles, also featuring folk craft fair. The town and its surroundings are ideal for cycling. The region is intertwined with several cycling routes, e.g. the international long-distance cycling Amber Route. Those who love spending their leisure time doing actively or relaxing will enjoy the Kolářovy sady park, right in the centre of the town, a park forest along the Hloučela river, a multipurpose sports hall, number of tennis courts, a bowling and squash hall, a bathhouse, climbing wall and other facilities open to the
general public.

nostalgia
remembrance of one very talented poet...we have met in the country of Cyrano de Bergerac...two strangers
I remember the day you went to my room and i made you a cup of tea because you were cold...making yourself sure we were only two friends and looking at the ceiling we have started to talk about our souls...
I remember you made me laugh when you told me you can touch your soul through your throat.
"What does it looks like ?" i asked out of curiosity
" it is like a cloudlet" was your answer
"Why cloudlet?" i asked with surprise ...and with my eyes shut and with a little smile on my face i had continued... "My soul is like a sunshine...bright...and warm...and yellow"
"What colour is your soul?"
"Red."
"Why red?" i could not help my self
"Because there are thousand burning roses underneath."....

I did not say anything but one thought ran over my mind...i am falling in love...
and i remember the day when i had opened my door and you were behind...
"So what is going to happen if we will become more than friends? You know i have to go back... "

you know the answer now, dont you?
all words that make a poem the colours that make a painting the dots which make the most beautiful music...it is a reflection of someones feelings...
it comes from ones heart...
... to be part of it and touch someone´s heart that is an unforgettable gift that we could give to eachother.

Anjelik môj

Anjelik môj kde lietaš
že pri mne blízko nestojíš
keď si so mnou žiaru nevidíš
kto vie jak vôbec vyzeráš
akú máš farbu krídel
možno si vzduch a vánok náš
myslím že aj tak viac podôb máš
buď chvílku búrkou nádhernou
pohlaď mi líca dažïom
jak malá iskra preleť tmou
všetko ti poviem – si anjel môj
jak malá iskra preleť tmu
všetko ti poviem – si anjel môj
môj anjel z neba padá
hladká ma kvapka za kvapkou
už nie som smutná – viem je so mnu
môj anjel lieta nado mnou
je strážcom mojich krokov
ja viem že vždy rád priletí
viem že sa v dialky snáď nestratí
môj anjel lieta námestím
je strážcom mojich krokov
ja viem že vždy rád priletí
keď sa mi z tváre smiech vytratí
ja viem že vždy rád priletí
keď sa mi z tváre smiech vytratí

Jonathan Livingston Seagull

It was morning, and the new sun sparkled gold across the ripples of a gentle sea. A mile from shore a fishing boat chummed the water and the word for Breakfast Flock flashed through the air, till a crowd of a thousand seagulls came to dodge and fight for bits of food. It was another busy day beginning.
But way off alone, out by himself beyond boat and shore, Jonatan Livingston Seagull was practicing.

why Jon, why? his mother asked. Why is it so hard to be like the rest of the flock, Jon? Why can´t you leave the low flying to the pelicans, the alhatross? Why don´t you eat? Son, you are bone and feathers...
I don´t mind being bone and feathers mom. I just want to know what I can do in the air and what I can´t, that is all. I just want to know...
It wasn´t long Jonathan Gull was off by himself again far out at sea, hungry, happy, learning...

fighting about our territory with my daddy...

and that is the way that we make an espesso in Moravia
but some values stay invisible to the eyes...
after one night staying in a french park where my stubborness brought me and after my awakening in the ward Psy D where a depression left me i do appreciate my homeland more
and i know that some angels still exist...they are known as MY FRIENDS

at home...
one of our three dogs that is very stubborn
and does not like publicity...he is my favourite one

nevertheless he likes to give me a kiss...
a blue sky above my head and the trees in
our garden is one of the best therapies for
me

no it is not our swimming pool...
i just love the reflections in our little artificial lake
me and my daddy...
it was him who i was calling during my moments of fear...
there was also another man and another dog who i was calling and hoping they would find me...but the way of our life is very different...that is why he never could hear my call...and never looked for me...
